I have a small 13" analogue tv with a built in VCR which can record up to 8 programs that are coded into it. It also has has a sleep feature which turns off the tv after 30,60 or 90 minutes. It also has an auto on which I can set to turn on at a set time when activated prior like an alarm clock. This tv is my life - I record all my fav programs, it lulls me to sleep and wakes me in the am. What features will I lose when I hook up the convertor box? I tried once but did not have any room for a new antenna or the box and cables. I have to find a new tv stand with more/wider shelves on freecycle or on the curb. I dread the freaking switch to DTV. I know I will be paying more for electricity since the box has to stay on, and I will probably need a new amplified antenna too. I hate DTV already. I at least have a big roll of duct tape to cover up the huge led light on the front of my convertor box (did the electric companies invent these things?). So far my tv give me much worse pictures with DTV. who wants to watch tv when the picture and sound go out every two minutes? amd why to I get weird sounds while watching some programs? a siren during most of the hour of the Doctors a few months ago and then a clamoring ringing during an Oprah show a short while ago. The sounds were not on any other channel or on it's analogue counterpart channel,
